The STO Garant guarantee system

In order to comply with the statutory warranty obligation, Tix & Travel GmbH uses STO Garant for all package tours. You can check this on the STO Garant participant page ( www.sto-garant.nl/de/teilnehmer ). More information about STO Garant is available on the website www.sto-garant.nl/en .

For every (travel) offer from Tix & Travel GmbH, it is clearly stated whether the STO Garant guarantee applies in this case. In the description of the guarantee system, you will find out what the scope of the guarantee includes and which conditions and requirements apply. The functional principle

If the STO Garant guarantee applies to your booking, you do not pay the travel amount to Tix & Travel GmbH, but pay it into the escrow account of Stichting Derdengelden Certo Escrow, a payment service provider registered with De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB, the Dutch central bank) and the Autoriteit Financiële Markten (AFM, the Dutch Financial Markets Authority). This trust account foundation guarantees your travel amount until the end of your booked package holiday. If services are not provided in full and/or on time by Tix & Travel GmbH due to financial difficulties, STO Garant will assume the guarantee. You can find out from the guarantee regulations how you can assert your claims should such a case occur.
