At the Wunderino Arena Kiel, a real handball stronghold and home of THW Kiel, you can experience exciting preliminary round matches of the 2027 IHF Handball World Championship. On this match day, Group G will face off, including Denmark as the reigning world champion, creating an international World Cup atmosphere right in northern Germany. The preliminary round matches of Groups E and G will be played in Kiel from January 14 to 19, with Denmark in action on January 15, 17, and 19 – with several matches on one day in the stadium of Kiel's handball culture.
